Great start for netball teams
The Year 7 and U16 netball teams have enjoyed their first tournament of the year.
The Year 7 team won two out of three games and drew the play off game against Dorcan, finishing joint 5th overall out of all the Year 7 teams that attended. It was great for the scholars to get some experience at their first ever tournament, and the fact that they won some of the games was a bonus. Other schools commented on how supportive our Year 7 pupils were towards theirs during the match which was lovely to hear.
The U16 team won three out of five matches, with some excellent play from all girls in the team. The team finished in 4th place overall out of all U16s teams. Excellent shooting from Ellie T and Heidi F, and fantastic feedback from the staff at Dorcan School:
"Your U16 were a real credit, so polite and respectful and organised themselves really well."
Overall, it was a fabulous start to the season and I'm already looking forward to more.
