Record breaking achievement for Hana

Record breaking achievement for Hana

Barbara Freeman / Categories: News

Year 11 Hana has successfully completed all 925 skills in hegartymaths with 100%. This is an incredible achievement, especially considering there is even A-Level content in there. Hana spent 333.5 hours in total on her questions, completing a monumental 11,571 questions. She even managed to do 80 hours of this during the first week of her Easter holiday, displaying an impeccable work ethic.

Over 1.5 million students use hegartymaths and Hana has joined only a handful of others to complete the whole website. Mr Hegarty himself wrote to congratulate Hana and to say how extremely impressed he is with her commitment and dedication.

Students at Nova Hreod Academy have been following the hegartymaths programme for 7 years and Hana is the first student to complete every question at this level. In recognition of her achievement, Hana was presented with a certificate from hegartymaths and a Headteacher's award from Mr Wells. She is planning to study maths at New College when she leaves Nova this summer, and we are sure she'll be very successful.  Well done Hana.
