How to apply for a place at Nova Hreod Academy

Admission into Nova is coordinated by Swindon Borough Council.  Parents will need to make an online application on the Swindon Borough Council’s admissions portal at: https://www.swindon.gov.uk/info/20071/school_places_and_admissions/424/secondary_school_places_and_admissions

Parents will need to select 3 schools.  If Nova Hreod is your first choice of school for your son/daughter, you must put the school as first choice. Failure to do so could mean that you are allocated your second choice and the year group is filled before you can change it. Please review the information on our website to help you decide.

For entry into Year 7 in September 2022, parents can begin submitting their applications online from 1st September 2021 and must have submitted the application by 31st October 2021 AT THE LATEST. Failure to submit your application before this date can mean that a place will not be available.

Further information

On this page you will find a selection of videos and links to some key information about Nova, including a virtual tour of the building, where visitors can guide themselves around the school and see some of the impressive facilities. We hope you will find this page interesting and informative.
