Year 11 prefects and the newly appointed school captains were officially presented with their ties in an assembly on Wednesday morning.
The presentation marked an important milestone for the student leaders, who have been selected for their dedication, leadership qualities, and commitment to the school’s values. The presentation of ties symbolises their new responsibilities and the trust placed in them to represent their peers and uphold the school’s standards.
Mrs Green congratulated the students, encouraging them to lead with integrity and compassion. “Being a prefect or school captain comes with responsibility. You are role models, and your actions will inspire other the rest of the school community,” she said.
The prefects and captains received their ties from Mr Harding-Mbogo, followed by a round of applause from the audience.
The School Captains students expressed their excitement, looking forward to making a positive impact throughout the academic year.
