Each year, our Year 11 students look forward to the much-anticipated PGL Revision Weekend, and this year’s trip to PGL Liddington proved to be no exception. Designed to support students both academically and personally, the weekend offered a perfect balance of focused revision and unforgettable outdoor experiences.
Throughout the weekend, students took part in four bespoke revision sessions, providing valuable subject-specific support as they prepare for their upcoming exams. Alongside these sessions, the group embraced the wide range of high-quality activities on offer at PGL. From raft building and archery tag to the giant swing, campfire games, Hunted, sardines and henna art, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
The atmosphere was filled with energy, levity and laughter, giving students a well-deserved opportunity to relax after completing their PPE2 exams. For many, the trip marked a special milestone — their final residential visit as members of the Nova community before moving on to their chosen post-16 pathways.
PGL staff were full of praise for the students, commenting on their enthusiasm, positivity and teamwork, and noting how the school’s ethos of “Education with Character” was clearly reflected throughout the weekend.
A huge thank you must go to the staff who willingly gave up their own time to support the trip and ensure its success. Their commitment made it possible for students to enjoy a
weekend that was not only productive, but memorable — a fitting celebration as Year 11 approach the next exciting stage of their journey.
