Christmas Appeal
Aquila 3 will be running a 'reverse advent calendar' for the whole of December.
A reverse advent calendar is where, instead of receiving a 'gift' each day of December, we give. Students aren't expected to give everyday, however, Aquila 3 representatives will be visiting tutor bases to collect any form of donations each morning.
Items to consider:
· Any food which is long life; tins, packets, dried food etc.
· Toiletries, socks, gloves
· Any hot drink items; coffee granules, tea bags, hot chocolate
· Any unwanted, but in good condition, blankets if possible
In the last week of term, we will be donating the collection of items to the homeless people of Swindon through Alternative Angels, a charity who work to help the homeless of Swindon every week, by offering hot food, drinks and clothing/blankets. They rely purely on donated products from wellwishers. So, as Christmas is the season for giving, Aquila 3 would like to invite all Nova Hreod students and staff to take part, where they can! If you miss the morning collection, feel free to bring your items to Mrs Bekir in FE4.
