Reverse Advent Calendar

The annual Nova Hreod Academy reverse advent calendar invites students and staff at the school to donate items each day leading up to Christmas, to be donated to charity.  

Mrs Bekir, who organises the Reverse Advent Calendar, said:  

“This year we chose Swindon Domestic Abuse Support Service because we’ve seen first-hand how hard they work to support families in our community. Everyone has been so generous and I was impressed by the number of scholars who volunteered to help organise the collection, really demonstrating the Nova value of Contribution.  

The donated items were collected on Friday and will be distributed by SDASS to support local families in need of extra help this Christmas, and to make up Christmas presents for the adults and children they support.
