Creative Writing Challenge

It’s all in the eye of the beholder

Barbara Freeman / Categories: News

The Swindon Youth Festival of Literature, which is running in its 8th year from 9-13 November 2015, incorporates a short story competition, where students are challenged to write a story of no more than 500 words about an image.

This year the image is an eye seen through a keyhole... Ms Slaven is looking forward to reading the Nova Hreod entries and selecting the best in each category to go forward to the Swindon-wide judging by the Patron of Reading and Writing for Swindon Secondary Schools, Joffre White.
