First outing for Catalyst scholars
Scholars from Catalyst STEM Stream enjoyed their first outing to the Science Museum in London. Together with other Year 7 scholars, they had access to the newest exhibition, Technicians: The David Sainsbury Gallery where they enjoyed hands-on experiences that brought to life a wide variety of workplaces from a blockbuster film set to a pharmaceutical lab.
The scholars explored the range of careers available in the science industry, and the wider world of science, including a fascinating trip back in time to learn about the history of medicine and how surgery and medicines have developed over time.
