Read for My School

Nova Hreod students join national competition to promote reading

Year 7 students at Nova Hreod can’t wait to get their feet up and get reading with Read for my School. It has been shown that twenty minutes a day reading has a positive on every aspect of a youngsters’ development.

  • Reading improves listening skills
  • Reading builds literacy skills
  • Reading improves academic performance

The Read for My School programme encourages digital and book format reading. Students will log their reading over an 8 week period and will earn points towards books for themselves and the school.
